Advisory Details:

High-Tech Bridge SA Security Research Lab has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in Redaxscript which could be exploited to perform SQL injection attacks and gain access to sensitive information.

1) SQL injection vulnerabilities in Redaxscript
The vulnerability exists due to input sanitation error in the "id" and "password" parameters in includes/password.php within the password reset functionality. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the vulnerable script and execute arbitrary SQL commands in application`s database. Successful exploitation may allow an attacker to read, modify, add or delete arbitrary data in the database.
Exploitation example:
POST /password_reset HTTP/1.1
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
Content-Length: 156
task=1&id=2'SQL_CODE_HERE&password=1'SQL_CODE_HERE&solution=c4ca4238a0b 923820dcc509a6f75849b& token=217cbb9548a07f9a5ac3181867aadeec&password_reset=Submit

2) Installation path disclosure weakness in Redaxscript
The weakness exists due to application reveals the full path to installation directory in an error message. A remote attacker can directly access the templates/default/index.php script and gain knowledge of the web root directory and other potentially sensitive information.
Exploitation example:
http://[host]/templates/default/index.php
